| The season is calling us home to nourish and repair ourselves. I know when I can’t find my centre, when my brain seems to be skipping around thoughts like dragonflies around a lake, I start to worry obsessively and go around in pointless circles unable to find a clear path with my actions. I start to over-process my thoughts and repeat myself in an effort to create some sort of conclusion, as if what I’m talking about has become some sort of essay. And I start to give out too much for my own good. So I turn to nature, always. Now is the time of year to nurture our bodies and minds with grounding practices during Harvest Time, as we reap the rewards of the season’s abundance. Not just literally with food but also with our actions, with all the seeds we planted over the last 9 months of the year. From the fire of Summer, we start to descend back into the earthy Autumn BUT it’s not quite Autumn… and it’s not quite Summer; it’s Harvest Time. This transition period is a time of abundance and cultivating those feelings of being full and complete. Happy with what the year has provided. What was once a seed, a goal or an intention, can now be fully realised. In whatever surprising form it took! In the end this time of year is all about finding our balance, unique to each of us.
