The 18th October is World Menopause Day, so in light of this I’m offering a Yoga for Menopause class. Everyone can take this class, even if you’re not sure what menopause & perimenopause are, if you’ve been through it, or if it’s still years away.
If you don’t have this in your future for your body (males), I suggest that you conciser doing the class anyway. We all have people in our lives, mothers, sisters, friends, colleagues who might be going through something and feel very alone. This knowledge and understanding can help grow your compassion no matter your own personal experience.

Using yoga to manage menopausal symptoms
Empowering you to take control of how these changes affect your life can be very rewarding! Typical menopause symptoms include:
your stomach and digestive system may be upset
your emotions are off your mind feels foggy
the number on the scales is going up
it’s more difficult to feel soothed
trouble sleeping
Some symptoms are a little less obvious:
muscle loss
degenerating joints
All of these areas can be targeted for relief through certain yoga poses.
Yoga can reduce the emotional symptoms of menopause, whilst treating the physical pain and discomfort.
